ONLINE ACCOUNT & COURSES

CREATING A FREE ACCOUNT

There are a few ways to get to the account/login page: 1) On our HOME PAGE you can click on the LOGIN link on the top of the page. 2) From our HOME PAGE if you click on Continuing Education/ then the State you want to view from the course map/ when you choose a course from the approved list for that state you will be redirected to the LOGIN PAGE. At the Login page you will have to create a Free Account to take one of the courses.

WHERE DO I PUT MY LICENSE(S) & STATE INFORMATION?

Once you have created an account and you have logged in click on the PROFILE tab. Here in your PROFILE page you will want to add all your license numbers/states. Important: After adding your license numbers PLEASE scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the SUBMIT button. If you do not click on the submit button your license(s) will not be recorded and Lightwave Learning will not be able to report your hours nor will your Certificates populate.

HOW DO I ENROLL IN A COURSE?

To Enroll in a course you will need to have an account with Lightwave Learning. After creating an account and updating your PROFILE page you can click on the CATALOG tab. Here you can click on the STATE/FILE to see what courses are available. Once you see a course you would like to take just enroll in the course. After enrolling in the course go to the MY TRAINING tab to start your course.

WHERE DO I GO TO START MY COURSE?

After enrolling in a course go to the MY TRAINING tab in your account to start your course. Click on the PLAY icon and the course will start.

WHAT IF I FAIL THE COURSE?

If you Fail a Module or Course you may just start over. Our courses are set up to allow you to start over if the course is not passed.

TAKING A COURSE

WHAT DOES START/STOP/RESUME MEAN?

The courses are formatted so the user can stop the course at any time by logging out and when ready, the user can log back in and resume where they left off.

WHY ARE THE COURSES BROKEN UP INTO MODULES?

All our courses are broken into modules to allow the user an achievable goal to reach each time they log in. We believe that it is easier to stay focused when the courses are broken into modules.

HOW DO I LOG OUT OF A COURSE?

When logging out you will need to click on the “close” icon in the course browser (FIGURE 1). After that you will see a dark screen that will have a “close” tab. Click on the “close” tab (FIGURE 2) and your course progress will be saved (you may have to scroll up a bit.) At this time you can now exit your account.

WHEN LOGGING BACK INTO A COURSE

When logging back in go to the account login page. After logging back in from the account page click on the MY TRAINING tab and click on the course you would like to start again.

COMPLETING/PAYING FOR COURSE/CERTIFICATES

WHEN COMPLETING A COURSE

After completing course and closing course page a pop-up window will appear asking you to pay. You can either click on the pop-up window and pay now or you can pay later by clicking on the $ symbol on your TRANSCRIPT page.

WHERE IS MY RECEIPT?

A receipt will be emailed to you between 5-10 minutes after purchasing the course.

WHERE DO I GO TO PRINT OUT MY CERTIFICATE?

After completing and paying for a course your certificate will show up in your TRANSCRIPT page. Just click on the medallion symbol. If you see a $ instead you must pay for the course first. After paying for the course refresh your screen and a medallion symbol will appear. Click on the medallion symbol and your certificate will populate and will then you will be able to print it.

MY CERTIFICATE IS NOT SHOWING

If your certificate is not populating go to your profile page and enter your license numbers. After entering you license(s) please scroll down and click on the submit button to register them in the system.

TABLET INSTRUCTIONS

ENROLL INTO A COURSE FROM THE TABLET FOLDER IN THE CATALOG PAGE

Here you can click on the STATE/FILE/TABLET DEVICES to see what courses are available. Once you see a course you would like to take just ENROLL in the course. After enrolling in the course go to the MY TRAINING tab to start your course.

START THE COURSE FROM MY TRAINING PAGE

After enrolling in a course go to the MY TRAINING tab in your account to start your course. Click on the PLAY icon and the course will start.

ONCE THE COURSE STARTS / DOWNLOADING ARTICULATE PLAYER

After enrolling in a course go to the MY TRAINING tab in your account to start your course. Click on the PLAY icon and the course will start.

WHEN STARTING THE COURSE AFTER ARTICULATE PLAYER

After downloading Articulate Player and starting the course again you can then hold the LAUNCH button, a drop down will appear where you can then click on the OPEN IN “ARTICULATE” button.

USING THE PLAYER

The Menu can be used to scroll through the course, additional information (info/illustration) can be accessed by clicking on the buttons, after choosing your answer click on the SUBMIT button.

WHEN EXITING THE COURSE

When Stopping or Finishing click on the LIBRARY button to exit the player, then go back to your internet browser where the course was launched from to click on the CLOSE COURSE button.

WHEN COMPLETELY FINISHED WITH THE COURSE

After you have finished and paid for the course you can delete the course from your Articulate Player.
